| well another day another city in vietnam.. this time im in sapa wich boarders china and all...fun... we took a train ride here which was an experience. at one point i was scared because the doors were locked at both ends and i thought it was our stop but it wasnt. i was running up and down the iles trying to find a way out but it turned out that they locked it so it would prevent people from in and out of the bays so it reduce chances of thieves from coming in. oh wells. but yeah we are in mountain country now. we were in hanoi earlier and went to the most spectacular caves ive ever seen and we also got to ride a junk boat in ha long bay. many many pictures to come but unforunatly the computers here are a bit too primitive. i mean im staring at a 15 inch tube monitor! shit man and this thing is freezing. and my ipod is shocking me from the extra current that the usb port is putting out. oh wells. it is beautiful out here though im looking out side and theres soo much greenery and oxes and bulls and .... dirt... yeah.... fun.... just call me the city slicker.... aany whoos my ipods almost done and that is that for now we will be here in sapa for 2 days and then we will take the train back to hanoi where we will meet up with our tour guides and then we will continue on downward to danang and also hue... so if any of u peeps would like any thing special in paticular let me know!! but of course ill bring things back anyways....till next time folks!!! | | |
| its been so long but here it goes, im in vietnam right now and the place wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i mean from all the warning and all the stories from other people, this is kinda like mexico, except that it is a bit dirtier and that you can actually understand them when they talk shit about you. heh yeah my family has been a specical here in vietnam. sticking out like a sore thum expecially christine. she says she feels tall around here and she gets hellsa stares from the flaming guys hanging out in front of the hair salon because she still has a bit of green in her hair, hahah as ironic as it should sound, but yeah. dad and mom could not be happier. dad has been more how u should say, "passionate" lately. smiling from end to end he tries to reminess the days where he would meet up with his posse at the corners and then he would point out the other places where he would take his dates and all that jazz. i do have to say though the pho here is freeking unbelieveable haha we went to the pho 2000 where clinton ate and that was pretty damn good. well with that i leave with some pics and till next time....

Wake Me Up When September Ends well moving is coming along.. as of this moment i have no internet.. well i havent had the internet for a week or so. due to the move and all. if you are asking "how can you post on xanga if you dont have internet richard?" well.. to answer that, i am actually mooching internet from kwin and any other chance i have to do so ha. either way im almost done moving and starting to settle in. today was yet another car show and i actually won 2 trophies at this show. more pics to come. i won 2nd in the "best euro " catagory and also won "best luxury sedan ". the real prize was actually a parade lap on the race track on laguna seca. today was a fun day and now back to a desolate, and lony life of non interaction on the world wide web.... till next time. | | |

sniff sniff... my baby won 2nd place for best c class mercedes at a car show i she was in over the weekend! hehe. even though it was a drag to just stand around and see the same cars over and over for couple hrs, in the end it was worth it. this car show had lots and lots of euro cars and was just a small one. this was the Topline autofest II in berlingame. there are more pics of the whole show in my flickr account just let me know if u like to see them.
also this weekend i went to napa valley with ev and mo. we had sooo much fun. this day was actually like a day of gluttony. we first had lunch at mustards which was a really nice lunch. after we went to opus one and one other winery. we bought our wine and then had dinner at the cia.. Culinary institute Academy. this place was sooo nice we had a great bottle of wine and excelent food. here are some pics of the whole day enjoy and till next time!!!
